Update for members of the Caterpillar Defined Benefit Pension Plan

Change of administrator
The administration of the Caterpillar DB Pension Plan is currently operated by Caterpillar UK Limited. Following a review, the Trustee and the Company have decided to appoint Premier Pensions Management Ltd to take over the administration of the Plan. This is an administrative change only and the Trustee remains responsible for the Plan.

Due to a recent acquisition of Premier by the Isio Group, correspondence from Premier will start to be rebranded in line with the rest of the Isio Group, although this may not happen for some time.
 
Work is currently under way to transfer membership records from Caterpillar to Premier. Premier will provide you with your new member reference number by letter, which you should keep safe for your records. 
 
Contacting your new administrator
Premier Pensions will be taking over administration of the Caterpillar DB Pension Plan effective 1 April 2023.

Premier online access
One of the benefits of Premier Pensions as the Plan administrator is that you will be able to use their secure online member website to view and make requests about your pension.
 
With effective from 1 May 2023, your member website will be available to you through www.mycatpension.co.uk/db-plan. Here you will be able to set up your login and password. 
 
You can also request the following information without requiring a login via Premier’s online portal, www.yourpremier.co.uk.




Expression of Wish
It is important to keep your personal details up to date, especially details concerning persons to whom you wish any death benefits due from the Plan to be paid – your ‘expression of wish’. In the event of your death, the Trustee will consider the information you have provided on your expression of wish form when making a decision on where to pay any death benefits. Should your circumstances have changed since you last provided the Plan with an expression of wish, or you are not sure whom you have nominated, please complete the online form at www.yourpremier.co.uk. Alternatively, you can also update this on your member website (with effect from 1 May 2023).
